For the second consecutive year, Rockbrook International has been designated an official preparation centre that prepares learners for Cambridge English qualifications.
The certificate now hangs proudly in our office. We are delighted to have this special status as a Cambridge preparation centre.
Every Saturday morning throughout the academic year, English classes take place in Rockbrook Park School from 10.30 – 12.00.
It is the only day during the week when all our international students are centralised in one location. Our Saturday plan is part of the ‘Complete’ programme package.
There are a variety of classes on offer with different objectives: Cambridge exam preparation, English grammar and conversation classes and ones with an emphasis on Irish culture and traditions.
The type of class a student is assigned to depends on their length of stay and their level of English.
All our full year students do the Cambridge exam in May. For the students who finish their programmes at Christmas, there is also an opportunity to do it in December.
The exams usually take place in the Exam Centre of Ireland in Dublin 7 but also in Rockbrook Park School, depending on numbers and availability.
The Saturday programme is hugely popular among our international students and their parents really appreciate the additional learning we provide them. The Saturday teachers are very dynamic and dedicated.
Classes are followed by fun activities and excursions in and around Dublin so its not all hard work!
